Reports, Opinions, and Resources


Reports are the result of investigations conducted by the Commissioner at the request of the Premier, another Member of the Legislative Assembly, or a resolution of the Legistive Assembly.


Opinions provided by the Commissioner to MLAs are strictly confidential. They may only be released to the public by the MLA or by the Commissioner with the consent of the MLA. [Section 7]

Annual Reports to the Legislative Assembly

Each year the Commissioner is required to provide the Legislative Assembly with a Report on the affairs of the Commissioner’s Office. The Report may summarize the advice given by the Commissioner throughout the year but it shall not disclose confidential information or other information that could disclose the identity of the person involved.
