The Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island is located in the Hon. George Coles Building at 175 Richmond Street in Charlottetown, across from the Murphy Community Centre.

Province House is home to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island and is a National Historic Site celebrated as the birthplace of Confederation in 1864.
Beginning January 1, 2015, Province House National Historic Site will be closed for 3-5 years for extensive conservation work.
Parks Canada is committed to telling to the story of Province House National Historic Site, the birthplace of Confederation and site of the Charlottetown Conference, during this period of closure. They will define a multi-media visitor experience for Province House that will share the story of Confederation with visitors in ways that will build lasting, memorable connections between them and this very important symbol of Canadian history.
