Library and Research Service
In September 2007, the Standing Committee on Legislative Management approved the idea of reestablishing a Legislative Library and Research Service to support members, committees and house officers in their work. The library officially opened on May 22, 2008.
Housed within the physical library space is a government documents collection, periodicals collection, local newspapers, computer terminals, comfortable seating, and reference services, as well as a small collection on public policy and public administration.
The research service provides non-partisan report and brief writing for standing committees and individual members.
