James Aylward was first elected MLA for District 6, Stratford - Kinlock, in 2011 and re-elected in the 2015 Provincial general election.

James was raised in Sherwood and proudly lives in Stratford with his wife Cece, son Connor and father Bill. Prior to being elected James worked in the tourism and hospitality industry on Prince Edward Island and in Alberta.

James has served as a board member of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Holland College Advisory Committee, Chaired the Queens County Relay for Life for five years, and volunteered with the Terry Fox Foundation, Camp Gencheff, the Liturgical Ministries at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Habitat for Humanity, the Upper Room Food Bank, the Parkdale/Sherwood Lions Club, the Stratford Rotary Club and Stratford Citizens on Patrol.

Since being elected James has served on numerous legislative committees, including the Standing Committee on Health and Wellness, the Standing Committee on Rules, Regulations, Private Bills, and Privileges, and the Legislative Management Committee. James has served as Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Opposition House Leader and has held several Shadow Critic roles, including Health and Wellness and Education.

James was elected leader of the Prince Edward Island Progressive Conservative party on October 20th, 2017, becoming Leader of the Official Opposition.

Jamie Fox resides in North Carleton with his wife Deborah and together they are the proud parents of three sons Johnathan, Joey and Jacob.

He has been involved in various community groups. After service in the military and a career in local law enforcement, Jamie owned and operated small businesses in both P.E.I. and N.B.

Jamie was elected in May of 2015. From 2015-17 Fox served as Interim Leader of the Progressive Conservative party of Prince Edward Island and as Leader of the Opposition. He is Shadow Critic for Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy, and Justice and Public Safety. He also serves on the Standing Committees on Infrastructure and Energy and Rules Regulations, Private Bills and Privileges.

Colin LaVie has lived and worked in the community of District 1, Souris - Elmira, all his life and currently resides in the Town of Souris with his wife Shelley. Colin has two children, Shawn and Natasha.

Colin is a lobster fisherman who is very active in his community, serving as Chief of the Souris Fire Department and as a long-time volunteer with the Eastern Kings Sportsplex.

Colin was re-elected in 2015 and is currently serving on the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries.

Darlene was born in Eldon and raised in South Pinette. She has a business degree from Casco Bay College in Portland, Maine. Darlene has a background in interior design, construction and renovation. For the past three years, her career has been as the administrator at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge in Eldon.

Darlene has two grown children, Katie and Glen, and now lives on her family's homestead on the Ponds Road in South Pinette with her husband Russ.

Darlene serves on the board of the Belfast Development Corporation that oversees Belfast Highland Greens Golf Course and the Lord Selkirk Campground and Belfast pool.

She was elected in May of 2015 and also serves on the Standing Committee for Health and Wellness and is the Shadow Critic for Finance, the Status of Women, and Family and Human Services.

Sidney lives in St. Peter’s Harbour with his wife Anita and their three children.

Sidney is a graduate of Morell High School, holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University and was elected to the Legislative Assembly in May of 2015.

Sidney worked with MRSB Consulting as a business consultant. He is also a lobster and tuna fisherman out of the Red Head Harbour with his father in law.

Sidney is active in his community, serving as Chair of the Morell and Area Enhancement Committee and Vice President of the Morell and Area Development Corporation. He also volunteers as a coach in local minor hockey, ball and soccer groups and with the Morell Home and School Association.

He currently serves on the Standing Committees on Health and Wellness; Communities, Land and Environment; and Infrastructure and Energy.

Brad lives in New Glasgow with his wife Karen and their two children Annika and Alex.

Brad is a graduate of the University of Waterloo. For the last decade, Brad and his wife Karen have owned and operated an information technology consulting and web development company, working with business owners and organizations in PEI and across Canada. He has also worked as a Systems Analyst for Deltaware Systems and Alcatel Canada.

Brad is active in his local community as Chair of the New Glasgow Community Corporation, an Elder at Central Queens United Church as well a minor hockey and soccer coach. He also enjoys volunteering his time and musical talents at community ceilidhs, concerts and events.

First elected in 2015, Brad currently sits on the Standing Committees for Communities, Land and Environment; Agriculture and Fisheries, and Public Accounts. He also serves as the Shadow Critic for Communities, Land and Environment and for Workforce initiatives.

Matthew is a graduate of Kensington Intermediate High School and Holland College. He is a  a member of local community groups such as the Prince County Horseman’s Club and professional organizations like the PEI Real Estate Association. Through his businesses, Matthew has sponsored and supported countless local sports teams and community initiatives over the years. Matthew and his family reside in North Granville.

Matthew grew up in French River and has lived and worked in the district his entire life. For the last decade he has been a successful realtor with Century 21 Northumberland Realty of Summerside as well as a real estate developer in the Kensington area. Prior to his career in real estate Matthew worked in the family fishing and aquaculture business and in the tourism industry.

Matthew was elected in 2015. He serves on the Committee on Education and Economic Development and is the Shadow Critic for Economic Development and Tourism.

Steven was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in 2011 and again in 2015. Steven is the Shadow Critic for Education, Early Learning, and Culture.

Steven has extensive community experience as President of both Cardigan Minor Ball, and Montague Minor Hockey.  He was Chair of the Cardigan Ball Field Renovations Committee and the 2011 Midget Female Atlantics Host Committee as well as serving as a board member of the Cardigan Communities Development Association and the PEI Minor Hockey Council.

He currently serves on the Standing Committee on Education and Economic Development.
