The Standing Committee on Health and Social Development is reviewing the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP Act). As part of this review, the committee invites the public to provide feedback in one of two ways:
presenting at a public meeting or
submitting written feedback.
How do I present at the public meeting?
The public meeting will be held at the Honourable George Coles Building, 175 Richmond Street, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. There will be two sessions for presentations:
Morning session: 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Evening session: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Registered presenters will receive further details on how to participate. A number of timeslots may also be available for individuals who have not pre-registered but wish to speak.

This consultation closed on June 25, 2025, and the committee will report to the Legislative Assembly during the fall 2025 sitting of the legislature. The committee's report will be posted online in Committee Documents following its tabling in the House.
