Standing Committee on Health and Social Development

Topic:  The committee will receive a briefing on the topic of maintenance enforcement.  More specifically, an update on staffing, the tools currently utilized in the operation of maintenance enforcement, and the measures in place to ensure that children receive the financial support to which they are entitled.  The briefing will be provided by the following representatives from the Department of Justice and Public Safety:

• Bradshaw Campbell, Acting Manager of Family Justice Programs
• Rachel Kilbride, acting Director of Maintenance Enforcement
• Jenny Mason, Acting Director of Family Law and Court Services/APSO.

Additionally, the committee will consider its workplan.
