The Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island is located in the Hon. George Coles Building at 175 Richmond Street in Charlottetown, across from the Murphy Community Centre.

Hours of Operation
The public is welcome to visit the Assembly Chamber in the Hon. George Coles Building and watch the legislature while it is in session, Tuesday-Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m, and Friday morning, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Once the actice sitting of the legislature concludes, interpretive tours will be available to the public Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., until August 31, 2018. At other times of the year, visits to the Chamber can be requested by calling (902) 368-5970.
Province House is the regular home to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island and is a National Historic Site celebrated as the birthplace of Confederation in 1864.
Beginning January 1, 2015, Province House National Historic Site will be closed for 3-5 years for extensive conservation work.
During this period of closure, the Confederation Centre of the Arts and Parks Canada are pleased to provide The Story of Confederation. This program offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Province House National Historic Site and the Charlottetown Conference while Province House is closed for conservation work over the next three to five years.
