Question 07

Olive Crane gives notice that she will ask the Minister responsible for Health the following questions:

Date Submitted : November 14, 2014

Recently I have been contacted by a patient in hospital who is wondering "why the common room tv no longer shows all the channels including programming like the House proceedings or local programs.

Who does pay for having the tv in the common rooms? Has there been any change in policy in regards to the number of channels available to patients, their families and their visitors? With the number of tv rentals through-out the hospital, would the company, who does the rentals ever donate to the common rooms the programming for free?
