The Standing Committee on Health and Social Development is reviewing the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP Act). As part of this review, the committee invites the public to provide feedback in one of two ways:
presenting at a public meeting or
submitting written feedback.
How do I present at the public meeting?
The public meeting will be held at the Honourable George Coles Building, 175 Richmond Street, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. There will be two sessions for presentations:
Morning session: 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Evening session: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Registered presenters will receive further details on how to participate. A number of timeslots may also be available for individuals who have not pre-registered but wish to speak.
How do I submit written feedback?
Written feedback can be provided to the Committee by June 25, 2025, by any of the following methods:

How will the information be used?
Feedback collected during this review may inform the committee’s recommendations to the Legislative Assembly. Please note that all relevant submissions will be made public as part of the review process.
