It is with sadness and sympathy that I wish to acknowledge the passing of the Honourable Mark McLane.
First elected in November 2021, Mark served his constituents and his portfolios with professionalism. Before that, he served several senior roles in the private sector and was a tireless volunteer. Always a calm presence, he held the respect of members on all sides of the House. I know I speak for all members and staff in saying that he will be greatly missed.
On behalf of the Legislative Assembly, I offer my sincere condolences to his family. May the memories of Mark provide you with strength in this time of grief and anguish.
