The Standing Committee on Education and Economic Growth is interested in supporting children and youth to be safe and free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination in all PEI public schools. The Committee is interested in hearing from students, parents, teachers, and any concerned individuals on the topics of safety, bullying, harassment, and discrimination – in any form – happening within Island schools.
Children and Youth participation
Children and Youth are strongly encouraged to participate. If you do not have internet access or do not want to write your feedback, you may have a phone call to share your thoughts. Children and Youth can connect with Alysha Campbell, the Committee Clerk, at 902-368-4320 or email@example.com.
Children and Youth may be referred to the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate if they would like assistance expressing their feedback, or need personal support.
The committee may use information gathered from feedback to propose recommendations to the Legislative Assembly in hopes of contributing to positive changes for students in Prince Edward Island schools. Please indicate whether you would like your submission to be shared publicly, or shared only with committee members for information gathering purposes. Privacy of submitters will be maintained throughout this process.
