Charlottetown, January 6, 2020 - Auditor General Jane MacAdam released the following statement.
“I notified the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly that I will be leaving my position as Auditor General effective March 31, 2020. After a long professional career with the Office of the Auditor General, I have made a decision to retire.”
“I have been honoured to serve as Prince Edward Island’s Auditor General since 2013. It has also been a pleasure leading an exceptional group of professionals who are dedicated to improving public sector financial management and accountability.”
About the Office of the Auditor General of Prince Edward Island
The Auditor General is an independent officer of the Legislature who reports directly to the Legislative Assembly.
The Audit Act empowers the Office to conduct audits, report findings and make recommendations.
