Brendan Curran

Born and raised in Alberry Plains, Brendan Curran was elected to represent the residents of District 2, Georgetown-Pownal, in a by-election on December 8, 2025.

Growing up around horses, Brendan learned the value of hard work, patience, and responsibility, lessons which still guide him today. His rural upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for community, integrity, and getting the job done.

Brendan’s passion for public service comes from a belief that government should listen, act, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the people it serves. Whether advocating for critical infrastructure such as the Kings County Memorial Hospital and Georgetown School, ensuring the maintenance and safety of local roads, or helping residents find answers to issues that matter most to them, Brendan is committed to delivering results for District 2.

He and his wife Kelsey are proud parents of their son.
